The PLP system has a built in scraper module, this module is configured to scrape the Gumtree Website for relevant Prospects based on a specific criteria.
Once scraped the Prospect is added to the Prospect list. This scraping takes please each hour. The only issue is that GumTree prevent the scraping of Telephone number, so this must be manually entered. This process is detailed below.
The screen has the following headings;
Date/Time: This is the Date/Time the Prospect was scraped.
Source: This is the System the scrape has been made from, and the category.
Posted: This is when the Prospect was added to the originating System
Title: This is the Title scraped from the originating System
Seller: This indicates whether the classified ad is a Business or Private Listing
Type: This indicates what type of property this is
Price: This indicates the price the property has associated against it in the classified ad, it should be noted, this could be a Monthly Rent Price, the price of a LO, the overall Price of the property. To understand its context you will need to review the Ad in the originating System
SN: Typically the automation will allocate a SN to each Prospect, for them to review and process accordingly.
