Processing a Prospect

To process a Prospect and either reject it, or qualify it as a Lead, so moving it to the FactFind Inbox, requires the following steps.

Firstly, you must have an active GumTree account, that you’re signed into, this is crucial as one of the steps involves reviewing the Ad on Gumtree.

The first step in qualifying the Prospect is done by clicking “View” on the far right hand side of the screen for the Prospect in question.
This will open the Ad in a new browser tab.

Review the Ad and using Office Process Criteria, Please see the “Office Process” section for more details, decide whether this Prospect is worthwhile moving to the FactFind Lead Inbox.

If the Ad does not meet the criteria, close the newly opened GumTree tab, then return to the Prospects screen and click “Decline” next to the Prospect in question, so removing it from the list.

If however, the Prospect does meet the criteria, from within GumTree, display and copy ( Control “C” ) the Ad’s telephone number, return to the Prospect screen and click “Telephone” next to the Prospect in question, Paste ( Control “V” ) the telephone number into the available field and click “Amend”

You’ll now be returned to the Prospects screen, and a new option will be available next to the Prospect in question, the “Approve” option, it should be noted at this point that you can still click “Decline”, so removing the prospect from the list, you can also still click “View” on the far right hand side of the screen, This will open the Ad in a new browser tab.

If the intention is to Approve and convert the Prospect into a Lead, then click “Approve”

The Prospect will now be removed from the list and a new FactFind Inbox Lead will be added, automatically populating the data the system has been able to scrape from the originating System.

At this point a specific WF takes control of processing for the newly created Lead.
